JN Group CEO Commends Expo Jamaica 2025 for Fuelling Business Connections
Earl Jarrett, chief executive officer of The Jamaica National Group, has lauded Expo Jamaica 2025, held at the National Arena and National Indoor Sports Centre from April 3 to 6, for its strong showing and its organisers for again providing a dynamic platform that created valuable business connections and strategic industry engagements.
The expo is described as the largest and most influential exhibition and trade show in the English-speaking Caribbean.
Following a tour of the expo and visits to booths, including those of the JN Group member companies JN Bank, MC Systems and the Jamaica Automobile Association (JAA) on day two of the event, Mr Jarrett described the atmosphere as vibrant and full of opportunity. He said the expo not only displayed innovation but also facilitated critical conversations that will lead to industry growth and progress.
Mr Jarrett noted that it would have been remiss for the JN Group not to participate in the trade show, emphasising that the expo provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships and the Group’s presence in the market.
“It was a great expo and we had to be here,” he said.“I was quite thrilled with the team members and their approach to the expo.”
The expo showcased a diverse range of Jamaican-made products and services, including innovations like the JN Pay digital solutions, particularly its point-of-sale and digital wallet, which JN Bank aims to use to help improve business efficiency and make payments faster and convenient. JN Bank also showcased its range of products for businesses of all sizes, ranging from micro to large enterprises.
Among the other solutions showcased by the JN Group was the JN Financial Group’s ONE JN Passport, which enables users to provide their personal information once to access all JN Financial services, such as JN Bank unsecured loans and regular savings accounts.
Also featured were the JAA’s membership products, Driving Academy and Advance Card, which allows persons to consolidate fuel, servicing, maintenance, and repair costs in a single monthly statement through its use at point of sale machines.
Additionally, MC Systems showcased its Managed Print Services, BizPay Cash, Mobile Wallet and MCS Pay, which includes point-of-sale software development services. The company’s Managed Print Services provides businesses with enterprise-grade printer leasing, automated toner supply and ongoing maintenance to help organisations reduce costs and improve efficiency. BizPay Cash, an add-on to BizPay Central, enables employees to discreetly request salary advances through a secure platform, with repayments automatically deducted during payroll. MC Systems’ Mobile Wallet solutions support fast, secure digital transactions, while their MCS Pay POS software delivers customised solutions to streamline sales processes and improve customer experience.

“We had great products and I believe that we set a base for continued growth. I wish to say thanks [to Expo Jamaica] for this platform and I believe it can only get better as the years go by,” he said.
In addition to its offerings, the expo served as a key platform for industry collaboration. Attendees had the opportunity to sample products, access exclusive deals and participate in prize giveaways.
Throughout his tour, Mr Jarrett also engaged in meaningful conversations with a diverse range of industry stakeholders including realtors, remittance facilitators, investment professionals, experts in linkages and export facilitation and small business owners, reinforcing the JN Group’s commitment to fostering collaboration and value creation.
“It takes great effort to highlight the outstanding products at JN Bank and our other JN subsidiaries along with the great people behind them. This expo is just one of the ways we can share that with Jamaica, engage more clients, and accelerate business growth,” he said.
Owen Smith, general manager of the Jamaica Automobile Association, who was part of the JN Group exhibiting team at the expo, also commended this year’s staging of the event.
“I’m truly impressed with how far the expo has come. With over 800 buyers in attendance and around 250 businesses represented, it’s clear the event is growing in both reach and relevance. At the JAA, we were already doing business with about 40 per cent of the companies here and this platform has given us a valuable opportunity to deepen those relationships and continue engaging meaningfully. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a well-organised and impactful event,” he shared.
