Peta-Gaye Fairclough, BA, LLB

Peta-Gaye Fairclough joined JN Bank in 2018 as Chief, Compliance and Risk and was appointed Chief, Compliance and Risk at the JN Financial Group in 2022.  She has over 20 years of experience in developing Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Financing of Terrorism (AMLCFT) and Regulatory Compliance programmes- 14 of which have been at a senior level as Chief Compliance Officer.

Throughout her career, she has had oversight for compliance with laws and regulatory guidance governing banking, securities trading, unit trusts, pension funds, and money services, spanning 12 markets across the Caribbean.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from The University of the West Indies and an LLB (Honours) from the University of Essex. She is also a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

Ms. Fairclough was appointed Co-Chair of the Jamaica Bankers’ Association Compliance Committee in February 2019. And served two terms in this role.
