Terrence Harvey, BSc
Terrence Harvey, an experienced IT Professional, was elected Staff Director to join the Board of Directors of The Jamaica National Group, effective February 2024.
A proficient people manager, his multifaceted skill set includes managing IT projects, such as Helpdesk processes, asset management life cycle and Information Technology continuous process improvement to enhance user experience. His expertise also extends to social media, email marketing and lead generation marketing strategies, as well as developing instructional documents and videos.
He joined the Jamaica National Building Society in 2005 as a HEART Trainee at the St Ann’s Bay branch and two months later was promoted to Teller and in 2007, as Processor in the Internal Processing Centre. He transitioned to the User Support department as a Service Desk Analyst in 2009 and five years later, was promoted to a Service Desk Analyst Supervisor, and subsequently made a lateral move to being an Asset Management Supervisor in 2017. After a year, he was promoted to User Support Assistant Manager, JN Bank and in 2023 as User Support Manager, JN Group.
A graduate of the University of Technology, Jamaica, Mr Harvey completed a Bachelor of Science in Computing Information Technology and Information Systems in 2016. He also holds a certificate in IT Service Management from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr Harvey enjoys creating YouTube videos, playing musical instruments and singing.
